Under the three-year deal Sport Tv will continue to broadcast Italian Serie A until the 2009-10 season,
Riccardo Silva, president of Media Partners & Silva said: "We are glad that for our property we have selected Sport Tv, the traditional home of the top-class national and international football broadcast in Portugal".
Nuno Ferreira, managing director of SportTv Portugal said: "We are very happy with this agreement: we keep the main Serie A matches in our channels because this League is one of the most popular in Portugal. Sport Tv has been offering Italian Serie A to its subscribers since we started our operations in 1998”.
