Former Austrian Bundesliga champions GAK may have to play in Austria's amateur leagues after losing a legal battle to stay in the Bundesliga’s second division.
The Graz side, who won the Austrian Bundesliga title in 2004, accepting relegation from the top flight Bundesliga in April after incurring a 28-point deduction for financial irregularities, including going into administration.
And the league's highest court told GAK that their finances did not permit even a place in the second division.
