IOC inspectors will conclude a three-day visit to London today and will report on their findings.
Rogge told the UK’s The Daily Telegraph newspaper that from the reports he has had, “in the initial period of two years, London is ahead of every host city we have had in the past. That includes Beijing... Beijing is now almost ready, which means they have done a tremendous job since the beginning, and now we are one year from the Games.
"I think I will be able to say that again in 2011 because London is progressing extremely well."
