Meridian Lifts has been one of the greatest supporters of the Grand Prix series and its move to title sponsors of the FIM British Grand Prix confirms its commitment to the World Championship.
The FIM British Grand Prix takes place on Saturday June 30, 2007 in Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium and will be officially known as the 2007 FIM Meridian Lifts British Speedway Grand Prix.
Paul Bellamy, Managing Director, BSI Speedway said, “Over the years Meridian Lifts have been one of our most loyal and supportive sponsors.
“We could not be more delighted that they have now stepped up to take over the title sponsorship of the FIM British Speedway Grand Prix, in what I am sure will prove our biggest event to date at the Millennium Stadium.”
Meridian Lifts founder and owner, Andrew Tomlin, said, “After being involved with the Grand Prix series for over five years we are delighted to take the title sponsorship of our home Grand Prix.
“The FIM British Grand Prix has become the flagship for the sport and we are proud to associate our brand with such a great event.”
