A group of Middle Eastern and continental businessmen are reportedly putting together a bid for newly relegated English football club, Charlton Athletic.
Charlton was relegated from the Premier League yesterday, but a consortium, previously thought to have been interested in acquiring Liverpool, is lining up a takeover bid.
Charlton is believed to be an attractive target due to its London location and its potential for expansion.
