The number of confirmed international media takers has hit 35 and the aim is to reach 40 accessing media entities before the tournament starts in the 2nd week of July. This initiative follows a unique cooperation between the organiser, PR Event and the IEC in Sports agency.
In 2007, the event will be available on television in 150 countries in both a live and a highlights format. In addition, there will be coverage on the web and through various mobile operators.
In Sweden, TV4 SPORT-Expressen will air the event live. Terrestrial network TV4 will produce their morning news from the Centre Court and there will be multiple highlights programmes on the various TV4 channels.
