Player One Sports, a division of mobile content provider Player One, has created a Grand National mobile channel that will offer live streamed races, tips from TV pundit John McCririck and video from 10 classic past Nationals and a mobile game.
It's the second channel Player One Sports has developed following its Ashes cricket channel late last year. The Grand National channel will be available on major networks in the UK to coincide with this year's Aintree race meeting, which runs April 12th-14th in Liverpool.
Pete Russell, managing director of Player One, said: “The Grand National content produced for this year’s race is wonderfully diverse and is a great endorsement of our channel strategy. Being such an iconic event with such a rich history, the available archive has allowed for the creation of some exceptional mobile content which will be enjoyed worldwide."
