CAMERON TO DELIVER LECTURE

The leader of UK government opposition party the Conservatives – David Cameron – is to outline for the first time his vision for sport in next month’s Sport Industry Lecture 2007.

Organised by the Sport Industry Group, Cameron will make the exclusive address in the Law Society’s offices in London on May 22.

It is expected a key topic to be discussed will be the delivery of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Those attending the event will hear Cameron speak during a three-course meal followed by an open forum allowing delegates to pose questions to the party leader.

He follows in the footsteps of Lord Coe who delivered a speech at the inaugural event.
