Under the deals it will become:
Official Sponsor of UEFA Cup™ Final matches (from 2006/07 final up to and including the 2008/09 final)
Official Sponsor of the UEFA Super Cup™ match (from 2007 up to and including the August 2008 match)
Official Sponsor of the MTN Africa Cup of Nations Ghana 2008
Canon has a long-standing association with football going back almost 30 years, including several seasons as official supplier of the UEFA Champions League (1995-2000 and 2004-2006), support for the UEFA European Football Championship (1980-1996), the UEFA EURO 2004 tournament (as official sponsor) and consecutive World Cup tournaments (1978-1998).
