OMNICOM FUSES AGENCIES

Omnicom Media Group is aligning its leading sports and entertainment marketing companies in the US under the Fuse Sports & Entertainment Group.

The move is designed to bring together resources that include consulting, strategy development, content creation and distribution.

Daryl Simm, chairman and CEO of Omnicom Media Group, also confirmed Steve Grubbs, previously head of PHD North America - an independent media services company within the Omnicom Group – will be Fuse Sports’ CEO.

Robert Riesenberg, CEO of Full Circle Entertainment, now adds the additional title of president of Fuse Sports & Entertainment Group.

Fuse aligns four specialist companies in the sports and entertainment marketing arena, including marketing consultancy Optimum Entertainment, sports marketing firm Optimum Sports, content development and production company Full-Circle Entertainment, and content distributor Highway Entertainment.

The Fuse network of sports and entertainment companies now has offices in more than 20 countries across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Said Simm: “As its name suggests, Fuse allows us to offer clients fully integrated sports and entertainment solutions that encompass everything from ideation to final distribution. Or, depending on their needs, individual expert services, whatever the right combination is to deliver against their unique objectives.”
