NFL'S SAINTS SIGN DEAL TO STAY IN LOUISIANA

The National Football League's New Orleans Saints signed a deal with the state of Louisiana stay at the Superdome until the end of the 2010 season.

The team's future home had been in doubt after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the city and the Saints' home stadium just before the 2005 season started, leaving the team homeless.

The Saints returned to the Superdome in 2006. Louisiana and the Saints said they plan to explore ways to keep the team in New Orleans beyond 2010. "Our commitment to New Orleans has been unwavering," Saints Owner Tom Benson.
