SPECTRUM STRATEGY CONSULTANTS IN VALUE PARTNERS MERGER

Value Partners, the European management and IT consulting group headquartered in Milan, is to merge with leading UK consultancy Spectrum Strategy Consultants.

The move is designed to enhance the presence of both companies across three continents; focusing on key growth markets such as London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney, New Delhi, and Mumbai.

The deal will also allow Spectrum to expand the range of consulting services it offers to its clients, utilising the range of specialisms within Value Partners.

Mike Grabiner, the Chairman of Spectrum says, “this merger will enable Spectrum to further exploit its already rapid international growth, especially in Asia where the business is growing exponentially

Spectrum’s wide-ranging client portfolio includes large media entities such as Globo in Brazil, the BBC, NBC and Discovery; many of Europe’s top football clubs, sports leagues and federations, such as UEFA; large international private equity funds such as Apax and KKR; many major telecoms authorities in Europe and Asia; as well as the world’s largest telecoms operators and vendors such as Vodafone, NTT Docomo, France Telecom, Nokia and Siemens.

Value Partners, founded in 1993, has grown from 15 people to 3,000 people, divided into two sister companies: Value Partners Management Consulting and Value Team IT Consulting and Solutions. With global hubs in Europe, Latin America, China and India the business returned 2006 revenues in excess of € 370 million. Value Partners Management Consulting provides a wide range of services ranging across strategy, change management and performance improvement.

Value Partners and Spectrum will continue to operate under their own brands.
