The US Tennis Association said that 13,000 tickets were sold in the first three days of sale and Winston-Salem’s Joel Coliseum, which is hosting the tie, is expected to sell-out.
The tie between the United States and Spain takes place on April 6-8. Due to the strong ticket sales, the USTA expanded the seating capacity at the event to accommodate more than 14,000 spectators.
AIG is the official sponsor of the US Davis Cup team. Wilson is the official ball of the US Davis Cup team. US channels Versus and The Tennis Channel will air daily coverage of the quarter final.
