NBA ace Steve Nash has been linked with a possible investment move in English Premiership soccer club Tottenham Hotspur.
The Phoenix Suns star is a fan of the London club and, according to reports in the UK media, is keen to plough money into the side.
Nash, whose parents come from London, is quoted as saying: “If someone were to come in to buy Spurs, I would like to be involved. I suppose you would be talking about a consortium situation.
“As a fan, it appears to me that Spurs are quite profitable and Premiership football teams are obviously becoming a popular investment for businessmen from all over the world.”
