The long-delayed venue had been expected to be ready in time for the May match, but rumours and speculation at the end of last week suggested that once again the game will be held at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
William Hill spokesman Graham Sharp said: “We had been offering 1/7 that the final would be at Wembley and 4/1 that it would be played somewhere else, probably Cardiff. But, just like last year when the final should have been played there, we started to see plenty of people wanting to bet against it being ready, and almost no-one prepared to bet that it will be.
“So we have decided to close the book before we end up with a huge liability. Last year's debacle cost us a five-figure sum to shrewd punters.
“Hopefully, though, Wembley will be ready in time for the 2018 World Cup - we're 100/1 that it won't.”
As a consequence, Hills have cut their odds about the Olympic Stadium not being ready in time for the 2012 London Olympics from 16/1 to 12/1.
