Fisch, a graduate of the University of Paris PANTHEON-ASSAS in Economics and Financial Control, will also join the Eurosport steering committee.
Fisch began his career at the head of the sports department at French commercial broadcaster TF1 in 1991. In 1999, he was promoted Deputy Director to the Broadcast General Management, in charge of sports acquisitions and relations with key sports partners. In 2000 he created TF1's sports website which later merged with Eurosport's website.
In 2001, Fisch was named to Director of Communications for TF1. In September 2004, he became head of TPS Star, also overseeing its sports division (TPS Foot, Infosport). He was recently named content manager for e-TF1.
Fisch’s priorities will include the Beijing Olympic Games for 2008, of which Eurosport is official broadcaster for Europe, as well as development across the Asian market.
