After months of negotiations, reports from the US suggest Time Warner has finally agreed a deal with Liberty Media Corp. Details have, it is claimed, been put to the league to be rubber stamped.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the deal will see Time Warner transfer the Braves, a number of magazines and $1bn in cash to Liberty, in exchange for around 60m of Time Warner shares held by Liberty.
Spokesman from both media firms refused to confirm or deny the speculation.
