AVIVA APPOINTS FAST TRACK TO SPONSORSHIP TASK

Aviva, the savings, investments and insurance group, appointed Fast Track’s Consulting division to carry out a review of the group’s global approach to commercial sponsorship, with the project initially planned to run through 2007.

Aviva’s current sponsorship activities have been developed to meet specific objectives in different markets. Aviva’s sponsorship portfolio includes the Aviva Ballkids at the The Australian Open Tennis, badminton in Asia with title sponsorship of the Aviva Singapore Open and the Aviva CofCo China Masters, and Title sponsorship of solo yachtswoman Dee Caffari’s 2008/09 Vendée Globe Aviva Ocean Racing campaign.

Fast Track’s task will be to provide a strategic review of the role that sponsorship can play globally for the Brand across its key territories and to develop a framework to evaluate future opportunities.
