Cowboys spokesman Brett Daniels said the team is still in the early stages of securing a naming-rights sponsor and is "working to identify companies." Around 10 companies are likely to be interested in a 30-year naming rights deal.
Although the Dallas market is not as big as some in the US, analysts say the Cowboys deal could be one of the biggest of 2007 because the team has a global brand and will attract, local, national and international bidders.
In addition companies will see extra value in the fact the stadium will likely be used for major sports events like a Super Bowl or NCAA Final Four.
