At the same time the AOC appointed CoSport as the exclusive ticket and hospitality agent in Australia through 2012.
The deal means that CoSport will provide world class hospitality services for the AOC and its constituents (including athletes and their families), the Australian Olympic Team sponsors, national sports federations and their members as well as the general public at the Games of the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing, China in 2008, the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada in 2010 and the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London, England in 2012.
As a result of CoSport’s existing relationship with the 2008 Beijing Organising Committee (BOCOG), the agreement will allow the AOC to provide the best available hospitality services to its domestic sponsors during the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
The new sponsorship deal is ground breaking for the AOC in that for the first time, its exclusive ticket and hospitality provider will also be a sponsor of the Australian Olympic teams. This fact means that athletes and Olympic hopefuls will receive additional support for their training.
