INPUT MEDIA BROADCAST CENTRE SET FOR SETANTA LAUNCH

A new Transmission Suite has been built at Input Media’s Production Centre, based around Omneon server technology, Pebble Beach Automation and Miranda Presentation equipment. The area will provide state of the art ingest, playout and presentation, together with file based workflow from Input Media’s post production.

“This is a very exciting development for Input Media, with our building becoming a 24 hour broadcast centre for the first time. The Setanta Sports contract will give us a new set of challenges at every level of our business, and we will benefit from the expansion of our operations, and the new opportunities they will bring” said David Wood, Input Media’s Managing Director.

Simon Green, Setanta Sports’ Head of UK Channels explained, “Input Media’s Production Centre is a modern digital environment built to a high specification, and is specifically tailored to the requirements of live and post produced television sport. The company has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality content for its clients, and we see Input Media as an excellent fit with Setanta Sports’ growing requirements in what will be a very exciting year for both companies”.

Input Media currently produces all the UEFA Champions League highlights and magazine shows and all the content for digital channels Chelsea TV and Arsenal TV.
