The global showdown of motorsport champions from around the world will be staged in London in 2007 – switching from Paris.
The Stade de France has hosted the popular Race of Champions – which pits title holders from a range of series – for the past three years, drawing crowds of more than 51,000.
But organisers have secured a deal to host the 2007 event – to take place in December – at the new Wembley Stadium.
