The ad will be the first time a royal – Phillips is the Queen’s grand-daughter and daughter of Princess Anne - has starred in an advertising campaign in the UK.
Details of the ads were unveiled after Phillips followed in her mother’s footsteps by winning the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year award on Sunday.
A Land Rover spokesman said: “This is part of an on-going relationship we have with her. We’ll be doing another advert with her next year where she will be seen in action as a three-day eventer.”
