Swedish soccer chiefs have confirmed its top domestic league will be expanded from the 2008 season.
The Swedish FA said its First Division will grow from 14 to 16 clubs.
The shift will see three teams being promoted at the end of next season and just one relegated.
The Swedish domestic calendar runs from April to October.
