Sanyo Electric Co said that it has decided to terminate its sponsorship of the annual All-Star games in Japanese Professional Baseball.
It needs to reduce costs and the cost savings on the withdrawal from the All-Star games are estimated at several hundreds of millions of yen.
Sanyo has co-sponsored the Nippon Professional Baseball All-Star games since 1988.
