German pay-television company Arena TV acquired an exclusive package of pay-TV broadcast rights which includes all events of the FIBT World Cup and the FIBT World Championships for three seasons, effective from the start of the 2006/2007 season.
And Swiss public-service broadcaster, SRG SSR signed an exclusive one-year
agreement for the 2006/2007 season. The contract covers all races of the Men’s and Women’s Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championship and World Cup events exclusively on free television.
German commercial broadcasters RTL, SAT.1, PRO 7 and N24 have been granted news access rights for the FIBT events of the upcoming season.
