Dubai Racing Club recently launched a new initiative known as the Winter Racing Challenge which will extend over the first 10 racemeetings at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, including the Emirates-sponsored opening meeting on Thursday, 9th November 2006.
The Winter Racing Challenge runs through until January 11, 2007 with horses earning points depending on their finishing position in dedicated challenge races run at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse; bidding for their chance to compete for AED150,000 prizemoney in the Challenge finale.
The US$31,000,000 Dubai International Racing Carnival begins on January 18, 2007, with the world’s richest race, the Dubai World Cup bringing the curtain down on the season in spectacular fashion on Saturday, 31st March 2007.
