OCTAGON AND SPORTBUSINESS TEAM UP FOR CAMPUS 2007

Octagon have teamed up with SportBusiness to become the headline sponsor for the 2007 Campus event, to be held at Cass Business School on 18th and 19th April, 2007.

Campus is a unique 2-day streamed event covering an extensive range of sport business issues from sponsorship to TV rights, event management to the Olympic opportunity. Delegates can create their own schedule depending on their interests, their budget and their time constraints.

“Octagon are the perfect partners for us” commented Andy Rice, Project Director, “the breadth of their reach, both in terms of expertise and international perspective perfectly matches the Campus footprint. We have a shared goal- to ensure that Campus delivers unparalleled value for delegates who want to come and network, learn best practice strategies and develop business opportunities.”

“We are delighted to be working with SportBusiness on Campus,” explained Neill Duffy, President for Octagon EMEA. “As an industry leader, Octagon has a responsibility to support programs that contribute to the continued development of sports sponsorship as a first tier marketing strategy. As one of our industry’s most prestigious global events, Campus is the perfect opportunity for Octagon and others to share expertise and add value to every facet of the sports business mix.”

Rick Dudley, President and CEO, Octagon Worldwide will open the event with a key note presentation detailing the opportunities and threats facing the global industry. Dudley joins Dame Ellen MacArthur, and Giles Morgan from HSBC as early confirmed speakers. In 2006 Campus assembled over 100 speakers and over 400 attendees from 57 different countries.
