The Media Partners & Silva agency agreed a deal with the new Romanian sports channel, Sport One, for the broadcast of Italian Serie A in Romania.
Under the deal, brokered by Acid Sport, Sport One will broadcast Italian Serie A matches from the 2007-08 season until 2009-10 as well as the AC Milan Channel.
The channel, which will launch towards the end of 2006, is a joint venture between Bobby Paunescu, the owner of the free-to-air B1 channel in Romania and the Aviv Gilady Holdings Group from Israel. Mylan Tanzer is the channel’s general manager.
