Australian Football League club the Brisbane Lions secured the AFL's biggest annual sponsorship deal.
Mobile phone company Vodafone is understood to have signed a three-year deal worth $5.4million, replacing the Lion’s long-term major sponsor AAPT.
The $1.8million-a-year deal tops the $1.6million finance group Wizard is spending with Collingwood and raises the bar for the competition's clubs.
