It is planned to launch Setanta Sports’ new Golf Channel from the centre early next year, with further Setanta Sports channels to follow. Input Media’s studio facilities will be used to present many of the live US PGA golf tournaments recently acquired by Setanta, and the company’s post production operation will be integrated with the new transmission suite to prepare recorded programming for broadcast.
It is planned that Setanta Sports’ senior production and scheduling staff will be based at the Input Media premises, and the company is currently preparing for the first wave of Setanta Sports staff to arrive.
