The president of the International Softball Federation (ISF) has heaped praise on the organisers of the Beijing Olympic Games, proclaiming the new purpose-built facility for the sport in China as one of the best in the world.
The facility in Fengtai is this week hosting the women’s world championship as a test event ahead of the Games.
ISF chief Don Porter said: “I think this is one of our best venues. We’ve got plenty of good ones, but this compares favourably or better to most.”
