STRANKS JOINS SUNSET+ VINE AS NEW MEDIA HEAD

Sunset + Vine, the Tinopolis-owned independent sports production company, has appointed David Stranks, a former executive producer at mobile network 3, to head its expanding new media operations.

The new role signals a push to exploit sports rights into broadband and mobile content and put new media at the core of Sunset + Vine’s operations.

This includes increasing brand penetration for advertiser funded programming clients such as Gillette and Martini, and developing its gaming output into new areas.

As Head of New Media at Sunset + Vine, Stranks will work closely with Tinopolis’s existing interactive division to develop minority sports interests on broadband platforms; develop AFP brands like Gillette World Sport, Martini World Circuit and Volvo Ocean Race outside TV; and further exploit Sunset + Vine’s already strong gaming production skills, which include more than 80 hours of poker and blackjack for Flextech owned Challenge.

Tinopolis Interactive is one of the UK’s leading providers of eBusiness, eLearning and corporate communications for clients in the public and private sectors. Clients include BBC Jam, the MoD, ACCAC, the University for Industry and the WDA.
