The bi-annual tournament features top European and US players and follows a similar format to the Ryder Cup. The company also signed a two-year deal to sponsor Helen Alfredsson, captain of the European Solheim Cup Team.
The 2007 Cup begins on September 14 and is this year held at the Halmstad Golfklubb, Sweden. It will be the 10th event with the USA Ladies currently leading Europe six games to three in the tournament.
