The British Equestrian Federation and UK Sport have appointed PMP Legacy to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate a British bid to host the FEI Games in 2014 or 2018.
The games are the World Championships for all seven equestrian disciplines and are likely to include Para-Equestrian events.
Bids have to be submitted at least five years in advance.
PMP, which won the commission as a result of an op[en tendering process, will conduct a study which will examine venue and infrastructure feasibility, potential partnership agreements, economic impact and legacy issues.
