The International Cricket Council will today officially confirm its programme of events from 2007 to 2015.
Under the new programme there will be a major event every year from 2007, with a shorter eight-nation Champions Trophy set to take place on a biennial basis from 2008. Twenty20 cricket is also set to become an official part of the ICC international calendar from 2007 onwards.
Also at today’s meeting, Percy Sonn will take over from Ehsan Mani as ICC President.
