Amid a flurry of allegations that Juventus officials tried to influence referee appointments for Serie A games, the FIGC – Italy’s soccer federation – confirmed a prosecutors decision as to who should face charges will be made later today.
A number of other clubs – among them Lazio and AC Milan – have also been investigated.
Clubs face possible demotion if found guilty.
The scandal has already seen the resignation of the Juve board and senior officials at the FIGC.
An announcement is expected later today to confirm if anyone will be indicted following a probe into the scandal which has engulfed Italian soccer.
