Tagged in

The BBC’s principal commentator for its coverage of tennis Grand Slam Wimbledon has announced he is to quit after this summer’s tournament.

Former professional John Barrett, 75, who replaced Dan Maskell in 1992 as the BBC’s main commentator, says he wants to enjoy the event without having to work at it.
He has been a commentator for the BBC for more than 35 years.
