A small number of returns from national associations were put on sale this week – but by last night the official World Cup site was once again showing all games were sell-outs.
German chief Franz Beckenbauer said: “It is a pity some tickets were returned after the deadline, but I am sure they will all be sold.”
Organisers of the FIFA World Cup say they expect every ticket to be snapped up before the tournament kicks-off on Friday.
