UK racecourse operator Arena Leisure has appointed Martin McGann as a non-executive director and chairman of its audit committee.
Arena owns seven courses and is now the largest operator of UK horseracing fixtures. It also has a joint venture partnership with BSkyB, At The Races, which operates the UK’s only dedicated freely available racing channel.
McGann, a chartered accountant, has an extensive background in property and finance; he is currently finance director of Kandahar Group, a private property company.
