TIGERTURF SETS SIGHTS ON US

One of the world's largest synthetic turf manufacturers, TigerTurf International has started a push into the North and Latin America markets.

The company, which already has deals in place with the likes of the IRB, ITF, FIH and FIFA, hopes to build on its success so far in Asia, Europe, Africa, its homeland of New Zealand and Australia.

Harry Salomons, veteran turf executive and one of TigerTurf Americas' directors, said the company will deliver its global technology, to the North and Latin American markets through its suite of manufacturing facilities located in various locations throughout the world.

Said Salomons: “In areas where we do not yet have captive facilities, we'll contract with manufacturing partners.

“We can provide better value because we can build on demand to specification. Whether it's a custom or standard system or one that's been tested and approved by a major sport governing body."
