It has agreed to continue its association with the Bank of America Invitational Criterium – the professional bicycle race in Charlotte with a $125,000 prize pot.
Under the extended agreement, Bank of America will receive exclusive rights in the financial services category, continuing as the title sponsor of the 2006 race and a corporate sponsor of the 2007 race. The agreement also will include the license of intellectual property rights, extensive onsite advertising along the race route, and access to professional racers for special autograph events.
The Bank of America has signed a two-year extension to its existing sponsorship deal of one of cycling’s top events.
