NATWEST PENS NEW ECB DEAL

The England and Wales Cricket Board have signed a new four-year sponsorship deal with the NatWest bank for its new-look Pro40 limited overs league.

The deal runs from this season’s tournament through to 2009 – and adds the tournament to NatWest’s existing sponsorship portfolio which includes all limited-overs one-day home England internationals.
The league will be known as the NatWest Pro40.
David Collier, ECB chief executive, said: “NatWest has been a major supporter of cricket in England and Wales for over 25 years and by extending their involvement they are continuing to be a major driving force behind every aspect of the game.”
ECB commercial director, John Perera, added: “This demonstrates that cricket continues to attract blue chip brands such as NatWest which is central to the ECB's commercial strategy. We look forward to working together over the next four years."
