ICC APPOINT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES MANAGER

Cricket world governing body the ICC has appointed the CEO of Cricket Scotland its new development programmes manager.

Roddy Smith will assume the new role, reporting to the global development manager Matthew Kennedy. He will primarily be responsible for overseeing the work of the ICC's regional development managers across the globe.
Smith will also be charged with establishing the strategy and delivery of the five regional development programmes of Africa, the Americas, Asia, East Asia - Pacific and Europe as the ICC enters a new phase after a period of rapid expansion in membership and activity.
ICC CEO Malcolm Speed said: “It is great that the ICC has been able to identify an administrator of Roddy's quality, from within one of our leading associate members, to fulfil this very important role within our development department.”
