Building work in China on a shooting range for use in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has been suspended after workman discovered old tombs.
The tombs are thought to date back to the Ming dynasty, some 600 years ago, although no official details have been revealed while tests on the finds continue.
A spokesperson for the local organising committee said: “The find only impacts on a small part of the construction site and should not delay work seriously.”
