Eurosport has signed a new five-year deal with World Snooker designed to further boost the sport across Europe and the Middle East.
Effective from August 2006, Eurosport will show all World Snooker events across its pan-European network of over 107 million homes.
At least 300 hours of live coverage will be broadcast from major events such as the Grand Prix, the UK Championship, the Masters, the Malta Cup, the Welsh Open, the China Open and the 888.com World Snooker Championship.
The deal was brokered by TWI which represents World Snooker in the sale of its international broadcast rights.
