The soccer trade show at the Madinat Jumeirah runs between November 26-28 and is expected to boast more than 250 exhibitors and 3,000 delegates.
Organisers have this year doubled exhibition space at the venue – and say 50 percent has already been sold.
A spokesman said: “We are delighted to announce the FIFA president, has confirmed his intention to open Soccerex 2006 and look forward to extending a very special welcome to him at the event.”
FIFA president Sepp Blatter has confirmed he will open Soccerex 2006 when it returns to Dubai in November.
