London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe said he had made a commitment to maintain the stadium in a smaller 25,000 capacity but with a world-class track for athletics.
But Coe says no decision has been made that would rule out a Premier League team from using the stadium but that the legacy for athletics must be maintained.

Members of the IOC commission appear to be impressed so far.
"They are far more advanced than any other organising committee," one member told Around the Rings.
