The agreement runs until the end of 2008 with the first race being the Qtel Grand Prix Masters of Qatar at the Losail International Raceway on April 29.
Scott Poulter, CEO of Grand Prix Masters, said: “We are delighted to have SBT on-board and this will help take coverage of our series to a new level across Brazil. As Brazil’s second biggest national television station, SBT is widely acknowledged as innovative, creative and authoritative.”
The series features greats from the world of motor racing, including Brazilian Emerson Fittipaldi.
