The former head of business development at BBC World will be responsible for audio sales and distribution, which will include the assessment of market needs, product design and delivery strategies.
He will report to IMG Media’s head of sales worldwide, Michel Masquelier.
Palmer has previously worked for BTLooksmart as director of product and for BBC World Service as business manager for Europe.
TWI currently produces more than 2,500 hours of audio programming a year including documentaries on Pat Rafter and Muhammad Ali, three seasons of live European Tour Golf for talkSPORT and Total Rugby Radio.
